Blue Ridge Parkway

After just seeing a hint of color on the Blue Ridge Parkway when Mimi and Pop were here, we decided we would head up again a couple weeks later to see it at, hopefully, it's peak.

But, peak color was not what we found. We took a different route this time and there were very few overlooks. The trees along the road did have more color.

But the one overlook we stopped at didn't have much going for it. And my camera was in a funk during family picture time and wouldn't get the lighting correct. Boo.

Oh well. At least we can say we tried.
