Our tickets were for Sunday evening. Starting on Wednesday, Lily was having some major allergy issues. We called and had her meds changed it was so bad. On Saturday, her eyes became bloodshot and were oozing. Gross. And Sunday morning they were even worse. She just cried because they bothered her so much. I promptly called our doctor on Sunday morning to get her in that morning.
We got an appointment and find out that not only does she have pink eye, but it was caused by the ear infection she has...the one that never healed after antibiotics 3 weeks ago. Bummer.
She was feeling much better that afternoon, especially with ibuprofen on board and we headed to the theater. Super cute and Lily loved it. Her favorite character was Charlotte. My favorite part was when she leaned over and whispered, "This is awesome!"
Afterward, we headed down the street to a local ice-cream/coffee shop and shared a cup of hot chocolate on the cold evening.
Love date nights with my big girl! Hard to believe we celebrate another birthday next week! Where does the time go?
