Time for another update--with minimal pictures as we have been busy with family time this month.
We had a well visit this month. Weighing in at 17lbs 8oz (0.86%) and 29 3/4 inches long (7%). He is getting closer to being on that curve! He is slowly starting to eat more. He is enjoying sandwiches now. Kinda random since he won't pick up bites of food. But I will take what I can get! He is drinking whole milk. I quit adding anything to it when we couldn't figure out his intolerance and never added it back in because I could tell he was putting on weight.
During
vacation and the week after we thought he was giving up his morning nap. He went 2 weeks without one. He was sleeping late (9 or 10) and then would go down around 1 for 2 1/2-3 hours and be in bed by 7:30. Last week he decided it was time to add that morning nap back in. He is up around 7:15, down for nap at 9:30 and 3:30 and then in bed for the night at 7:30. On school days he still has only one nap. On these days he is in bed at 6:30 and will wake up closer to 8. School wears my boy out!
He is making sounds for off, on, out, banana, daddy, baby (sounds like daddy). He has also cut back on his "uh" sound when he wants something to eat, drink, or paci. He now leans forward with an open mouth and says "ahh." So much cuter!
And no, he still is not walking at 15 months! And he still won't stand on his own. He thinks it's a game when we try and get him to put weight on his legs without support and he will fall down and just laugh. And because he is not taking 4-5 steps on his own or weighing 20 lbs, he is still rear facing in his car seat. Oh son, you are stubborn. Speaking of stubborn, at the beginning of the month he decided he needed to start throwing tantrums. He will sprawl out face down on the floor and just yell when he doesn't get his way. He will also bat at our hands when we try to feed him something he doesn't want. Oh joy. It has arrived. Fortunately, the sweet, lovable, hug and kiss giving far outweighs the bad!
