Today's camp was about, you guessed it, what's inside your body.
When she arrived, she colored a face that looked like her own. Because we are all different on the outside. But on the inside we are all made the same.
The teacher went through each system--skin, muscles, bones, and organs at an age appropriate level. It was a great starter course for learning about the body. Here are some more specific things we did to teach her:
Went on a dig for bones. Lily got a rib.
Put together a skeleton
Blew bubbles using our lungs
Listened to our hearts
Made playdough intestines
We look forward to the next camp later in the summer!
