After an entire week with our 'framily' we were able to get back together with them for a night to celebrate this sweet baby of ours. We started the evening with a yummy quesadilla bar, complete with salsa, queso, and guacamole. So tasty!
We then played a couple of games. The candy bar game was fun and we got to take the candy home. Party favor.
We also played a game where we were given 10 baby related words (diaper, bottle, rocking chair, etc.) and 10 non-baby related words (interns, keyboard, windshield wipers, etc). They had to write a story using all 20 words.
Then each team read their story to the judges (JD and myself) and we voted on who won. There were some FUNNY stories! I love how our church staff can laugh together!
We ended the evening with Cheesecake Factory cheesecake, gifts, and prayer time with Dr. Smooth (who was paid to pray for our sweet "Brianna Christina". No, that will not be our girl name. You will have to ask Cau-Z about that one.).
We love our staff. Have I mentioned that? And not because they give us baby gifts. They are our friends and our SC family. They have walked a long hard road with us and they still want to be our friends. They make us laugh, encourage us, pray for us, and love us, no matter what. God has truly blessed our family!
