Homeschool Day

The Children's Museum had a homeschool day for us. They closed the museum of all school field trips so it was just us. It was so nice to have some fun programs without the chaos of millions of children running around.

One of the local theaters recently presented The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. They brought Aslan in to show the kids how he operated. It took 3 men to operate him. It was amazing to see the mechanics and how they worked together to make him move so smoothly.

Max and I left that presentation a bit early to head up to Tot Time. He did a great job playing animal sounds bingo.

We also went to a class to learn more about carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores. Max and Lily were learning together.

After lunch we went to a Get Up and Move class. Lots of fun music and dancing. Lily was loving it! Max, not so much.

The final stop was watching earthworms dig and petting hissing cockroaches. Ew.

Loved spending the day with my little people.
