We went to a new place. Super yummy!
Then we headed for gelato. Another win!
The weather was absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed our quick visit downtown.
It was then time to pick Max up from school (yes, we went without him! Sorry buddy!). Oh, let me back up!
With all the room prep, Lily's room was not able to be slept in. We pulled her mattress out and put it in Max's room. How fun. They will already be roommates. Or maybe zero fun! That first night, after lots of discipline, Lily finally headed to our room to fall asleep. 'Someone' kept talking to her and wouldn't let her sleep. We then moved her back to his room after he had fallen asleep. Then he proceeded to wake her up at 6:30 on Tuesday. Same story on Wednesday. Thursday morning, Max woke up at 5:45 after attending a party of one in his crib until 10pm the night before. Therefore, when we went to pick him up 30 minutes early, he was sound asleep. Due to the lack of sleep, we let him sleep until it was time for his teachers to leave. (And Lily is no longer sleeping in his room. She is now sleeping in the living room. You do what you have to do in order for everyone to get sleep during room renovations!)
We then headed home to play outside.
