NC Waterfall Tour

Mimi and Pop are here! And what is more exciting is they will be here all week!!

First on the list (since Daddy is home) is head up north and check out some waterfalls and maybe some fall color. We found a site that had scenic tours and we picked the first one on the list.

The first stop was Triple Falls. We packed picked up a picnic lunch and ate at the overlook for the falls.

We then headed back down the mountain and headed toward Hooker Falls.

 The kids wanted to feel the water.

We could have kept hiking, but no one wanted to do the 3-mile hike to see High Falls. One of these was in The Hunger Games. It's been so long since I watched the movie that I don't remember.

The last falls of the day was Looking Glass Falls. This little guy pooped out.

From there, we headed to the Blue Ridge Parkway and then made our way home. There were tons of overlooks. You can barely see the color starting to peek out.
