He is heading to Parent's Day Out (PDO) twice a week. He really enjoyed class last year. He knows one of his teachers from other church events and just adores her. Plus, his classroom is where he spent the last year on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights and this year on Wednesday nights. So it is home for him. And therefore, no tears!!
When he got home he told me all about his day, something Lily never would do.
What did you do at school today?
"Lay on map today; and um, be quiet there and um."
Who are you friends?
"Um. Elias, ?, Bo and um, Bo's Mommy, and Elin girl, and Elin"
Is Rebecca one of your friends?
"Um hm. Rebecca one my friends. Uh, Rebecca take Mark's toys."
Are you going to go back and play on Thursday?
"Uh huh."
Are you excited?
"Thursday different day. Okay."
