Summer Bucket List: Week 1

Our first week of summer was one busy week! We enjoyed every minute that we were away from home and enjoyed some quiet time while we were home. My house is messy and dirty, but totally worth the play time!

Tuesday we headed to the pool with friends.  Lily had a blast and Max mainly played on the side. He only fell in twice which scared him, but thankful for his puddle jumper!

Wednesday we played at the park for a couple of hours and then headed to the Cafe at the downtown airport. The kiddos had so much fun and even got to get in a plane! We probably watched 10 planes take off. Max was loving it!

Thursday Lily had a playdate at the ice rink. She had never been before and was pretty nervous about getting out on the ice. After a bit of encouragement, she was gone and skating for the next hour and a half.

Friday (and Thursday) it rained due to the tropical storm in the Atlantic. We headed to the gym at church to play and had a pizza lunch date. No picture documentation here.

Saturday we headed out to the downtown market to enjoy touch-a-truck. I thought Max would be in heaven, but he just wanted to be held. Maybe next year.
