We headed to visit my family after a week with JD's. While we were in the Falls, Max got his first cold. Things kept getting worse and late on the 22nd he began to run a fever. He was such a trooper. We found a doc in town who was a friend of a friend. He got us in on the eve of Christmas Eve (with everyone else in town). He was great! Does your doctor's office have a TV in the room? We were kinda worried we would be there forever, but it did help pass the time.
After being diagnosed with his first ear infection, we headed straight for the pharmacy and then on to spend some time with Mimi's family. We had not seen them since last Christmas. The girls had such a good time last year we were looking forward to another fun evening of play.
